Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will play against Table-toppers Gujarat Titans (GT in match number 43 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. This would be their first face-off in IPL. New opening batsman enter RCB playing XI for IPL 2022.

RCB are on a two-match losing streak, including a 29-run loss to RR, failing to chase 145. The poor form of Virat Kohli hasn’t helped the Faf du Plessis side while Glenn Maxwell has shown signs of inconsistency. With five wins in nine games, RCB is at the fifth position in the points table at the moment.

Top opening Batsmen Finn Allen all set to enter RCB playing XI against Gujarat Titans (GT). New Zealand player Finn Allen is touted to be the next big thing in the game. He will ply his trade for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the upcoming match of the IPL 2022.

RCB purchased the services of Finn Allen for Rs 80 lakh in the recently-concluded mega auction.  Allen has just played 6 T20I matches so far and has managed to score 156 runs at a strike rate of 190.24. In overall 51 T20 games, the Kiwi youngster has 1537 runs to his credit at a splendid strike rate of 175.65. His T20 career includes 14 half-centuries including one at the international level.
