What Makes The Bermuda Triangle So Mysterious?
There’s no ruder angle than doubting the Bermuda Triangle. And if you think that sentence is a little puzzling, wait till you read about what’s been going on down at the western end of the North Atlantic Ocean. Being able to record every disappearance in the Bermuda Triangle would help us understand this almost mystical location. The Bermuda Triangle has existed for centuries, and famous explorers such as Christopher Columbus sailed over this area. Given how many disappearances have taken place in this area, and continue to occur, it is almost certain that there were missing ships that we don't know about. Plenty of ships have attempted to cross the Atlantic Ocean, while aware of the dangers, and ultimately failed. Some theories that explain being the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle: -

Aliens: - Aliens would explain most of the phenomena that occur in the Bermuda Triangle, but is it not ludicrous to suggest that there is alien technology lying on the seabed? We would have spotted alien technology through satellite imaging, or the United States' submarines would have spotted it through Sonar. Conspiracists claim that alien technology and an underwater alien base are to explain missing people. We can't deny the possibility of UFO sightings on Earth, but could super-intelligent beings from a distant planet be the cause for more than 1,000 disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle. For now, this theory is a myth.

Rogue Waves: - the Bermuda Triangle, resulted in significant navigational error and catastrophe. Another popular theory is that the missing vessels were felled by so-called “rogue waves,” which are massive waves that can reach heights of up to 100 feet (30.5 metres) and would theoretically be powerful enough to destroy all evidence of a ship or aeroplane. The Bermuda Triangle is located in an area of the Atlantic Ocean where storms from multiple directions can converge, making rogue waves more likely to occur.

Methane Hydrates: - One such explanation is based on methane hydrates which are highly inflammable crystal-like compounds. If they can get trapped below the ocean floor (a geological phenomenon that is hypothetically possible), and if methane gas erupts from such hydrates, it lowers the density of the water and its buoyancy, and can easily sink a ship. While that might be a remote and hypothetical possibility, it has never been seen or known to have happened in or anywhere near the Bermuda Triangle.

Compass Variation: - Another theory was the Compass Variation It was said that Bermuda Triangle is one place where the compass points to the True North (ie. the geographic north pole) and the captains failed to make the necessary adjustments. The fact is, a compass always points to the Magnetic North and not the True North. There are a few points on the earth's surface such as a narrow channel in Bermuda Triangle, where the angular difference between these two north poles becomes zero and that is when they appear to be in a straight line to a ship.
To say that most disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle can be explained and have been solved is not necessarily true. There have been explanations for missing planes and ships, but often, the circumstances are so outlandish that cases are left unexplained. We’re pretty convinced that the Bermuda – or if you’re playing with fire, Devil’s -Triangle holds some crazy secrets beyond human understanding. Here’s what the globe has gleaned so far: -

Flight 19 (1945): - The most infamous of the disappearances in the Triangle is Flight 19. On the eve of December 5, 1945, five of the best Avenger Bombers of the US Navy vanished into thin air, while carrying out a routine mission. The squadron’s commander, Lieutenant Charles Taylor was constantly in touch with the base until his frequency broke down, mid-sentence. There was no static or lost signal, just complete breakage in the link. Those five aircraft were never seen or heard of again.
To top it all, the rescue force dispatched to recover the planes too never returned. The rescue force vanished similarly when their frequency broke down mid-sentence. After years of investigation, the case was closed with a tag of cause unknown’.

Fire of Columbus (1492): - The man who reportedly discovered America (though he didn’t, which is another story) also found something wild when passing through the mysterious Triangle. A fireball struck the water during the voyage! Talk about a hot ticket. On a less dramatic note, the compasses weren’t behaving as they should.
Verifying what took place is difficult. Plus, those pesky rational explanations are never far away. “It doesn’t matter that some historians believe the ‘flames’ were likely caused by a meteor,” writes the New York Post. Meanwhile, the strange readings were apparently “typical for the area’s unusual magnetic field.”

HMS Atalanta (1880): - The Titanic is far removed from the notorious Triangle, but one curious detail concerns the fate of the sister ship Britannic. Like its famous ship-shaped sibling, it also sank, creating a double tragedy. What does this have to do with Bermuda? Well, it too claimed a sea-faring sister. Not the Britannic, but the HMS Atalanta. The frigate, hailing from Britain, set off from Bermuda in the 19th century and was never seen again.
Meanwhile, in the less exotic climes of the Isle of Wight, Atalanta’s sister ship HMS Eurydice went down. This happened a couple of years prior.

A survivor of the Bermuda Triangle: - Bruce Gernon - Is one lucky man who has survived the experiences of the Bermuda Triangle. He has experienced the time-wrap theory of the Bermuda Triangle and has lived to tell his story of survival. He is the only lucky person in the world to witness what mystery is behind the Bermuda Triangle and what the Triangle creates to make things disappear. Many others have also seen parts of this phenomenon of mystery and disappearance and some have seen it completely, just like Bruce. It is only after 31 years of his complete research on the triangle did Bruce Gernon discover how he had flown those 100 miles in such a short time and never seen the Earth or sky around him. It is said that Bruce was captured by the electronic fog where in which there have been dozens of planes and boats too which went missing in this fog throughout history. He believes that a rare natural phenomenon may be behind this paranormal happening in the Triangle.
Mystery around the notorious Bermuda Triangle continues to intrigue scientists as well as regular people. There are numerous theories and possibilities surrounding it, but no concrete conclusions that unravel the secret behind the weird disappearances of flights and ships passing the Triangle’s territory.
